The task of the Liberal Party’s leader, Peter Dutton, is to hold the organisation until there is a change in the political mood in Australia.
What a load! Australians know right now what they want from a Liberal leader. They want a true conservative that will ditch the the greenies that have infiltrated the party. The elitists are going to vote Green long before they vote Liberal. Elitists don't care that:
1) While China is building new coal fired power stations every week, anything we do in Australia to shut down coal and gas will wreck the economy but do nothing to alter the climate.
2) Pensioners will freeze in winter but they will be warm no matter what the price of electricity. In addition they will benefit from the warm feeling that they get as virtue signal with their friends over tea or chardonnay.
3) Building solar panels and wind turbines in China using their cheap, dirty coal fired electricity and then transporting them to Australia will not reduce any carbon in this this country or anywhere else.
Quiet Australians will vote for a leader that is truly conservative. Who believes in freedom of speech and religion, two genders and that all Australians are equal. They will provide apolitical school curriculums and recognise the need for nuclear, coal or gas driven base load power to grow the economy.
Kooyong and Wentworth are gone. Ditch them and concentrate on the majority of Australians that are desperate for leadership away from the craziness that they see around them.
